Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your browser. Measurements, material choices, density, and order settings are used to produce the result shown on the page and are not submitted to an account system. The site currently provides no user accounts, newsletter form, checkout, or payment processing.
Local preferences and shared links
The selected region may be stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can restore an appropriate unit preset on a later visit. You can remove that value by clearing site data in your browser. If you choose Share, calculation settings are encoded after the # in the URL. That fragment can be read by anyone who receives the link, so review it before sharing. Price and delivery inputs are not included in the shared state.
Analytics, advertising, and server records
We use a self-hosted Umami Analytics service at a.gravelcalculator.app to understand aggregate site usage. It records page views and technical context such as the page URL and title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, browser language, and approximate location. Umami does not use tracking cookies or store personally identifiable information. An IP address may be used to derive location metrics but is not stored by Umami.
Calculator measurements, material choices, density overrides, price inputs, and other values entered into a calculator are not sent as custom analytics data. The site contains reserved advertisement layouts, but no ad network code is currently active. Hosting and network providers may also process ordinary request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path, and user agent for delivery, reliability, and security.
External sources and policy changes
The methodology section links to third-party standards organizations and government publications. Those sites apply their own privacy practices. Material changes to this policy will be reflected by updating the review date and the text on this page. Continued use after an update means the current published policy applies to that visit.
